Identifying and managing conflicts.
Film & Stage Media Group requires staff, contributors and representatives to disclose actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest, and to withdraw from decisions where independence cannot be maintained.
Disclosure
Personal, financial and professional relationships that could influence — or reasonably appear to influence — editorial, commercial or governance decisions must be disclosed to the corporate office and to the relevant editorial leadership.
Recusal
Where a conflict is identified, the affected individual withdraws from the decision, assignment or coverage in question. Editors reassign work to preserve independence.
